Bible verses about Loneliness

Loneliness can feel overwhelming, but God promises His presence to those who feel isolated. These verses remind us that we are never truly alone.

Deuteronomy 31:6

"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you."

Moses assures Israel of God's unfailing presence.

Psalm 68:6

"God sets the lonely in families; He leads out the prisoners with singing."

The psalmist celebrates God's care for the isolated.

Isaiah 41:10

"Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will surely help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand."

God addresses isolation with the promise of His presence.

Matthew 28:20

"And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Jesus promises His constant presence to His followers.

The author quotes God's promise never to abandon His people.

David affirms that even when human relationships fail, God remains.

"I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you."

Jesus promises not to abandon His disciples.
