Bible Verses About Prayer
Prayer is our direct line of communication with God — a privilege made possible through Christ. These verses encourage and guide us in this vital spiritual practice.
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

"In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know how we ought to pray, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groans too deep for words."
Paul assures believers that the Spirit helps when we don't know how to pray.
"And this is the confidence that we have before Him: If we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we already have the requests we have asked of Him."
John assures believers that God hears prayers aligned with His will.
