Bible Verses About Finances
God cares about how we handle money and possessions. These verses offer wisdom for stewarding resources faithfully and trusting God as our provider.
"But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you."
Jesus calls us to prioritize God's kingdom, promising provision will follow.
"Honor the LORD with your wealth and with the firstfruits of all your produce; then your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine."
Solomon connects honoring God with resources to abundance.
"And my God will meet all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus."
Paul assures believers that God provides according to His abundant resources.

God invites His people to test His generosity through giving.
"For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs."
Paul warns about the danger of loving money rather than God.
"Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, for God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.""
The author connects contentment with trust in God's presence.
