What We Collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive and store:

  • Your email address (to send you daily chapters and receive your replies)
  • Your name (for personalisation, though we rarely use it)

What You Provide

Through your email replies, you share:

  • Your reading preferences (Bible version, time window, timezone)
  • Notes and reflections on chapters (if you choose to save them)

How We Use Your Data

  • Send you daily Bible chapters at your preferred time
  • Store your notes so you can search them later
  • Send weekly summaries (if enabled)

What We Don't Do

  • We don't sell your data to anyone
  • We don't share your email with third parties for marketing

Analytics & Advertising

We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how people use Selah so we can improve it. This collects pages visited, general location (country and city level), device type and browser. We also use Meta Pixel to measure how well our ads on Facebook and Instagram perform. We never share email content, notes or your reading history with any analytics or advertising provider.

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (database) and processed through Cloudflare (email routing). Emails are sent via Resend. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Deleting Your Data

Want to delete your account and all associated data? Reply to any Selah email with @delete and follow the confirmation steps. This will permanently remove all your data and revoke access.
